Did you know that the ideal place to begin training is in your own home?! In order to establish a new behavior, or even to improve on already learned behaviors, the best location is one where the dog is the most comfortable, distractions are minimized, and attention can be focused on the task at hand.
Private training offers flexibility for your busy family life, with a curriculum tailored to your households needs, wherever you are in your training journey! Scheduling private in-home lessons will give your family the undivided attention you won’t get in a group class setting so we can focus on you and your pet with no outside distractions.
This is a great option for young puppies not ready for the big outside world, newly adopted rescues, fearful, shy or nervous dogs, and especially those tough-to-solve problem behaviors (looking at you, counter-surfers & door-dashers!).

A 2-week “schoolcation” your puppy will love! This program will help your puppy build positive connections for learning that sticks by having fun in a low-stress home environment!

Similar to the Board & Train, this 3 month/90 day package will provide your best buddy with a working vacation where they’ll enjoy a minimal stress, home environment while they learn polite behaviors for life with you. From the basics to hard to solve behaviors, this program will have your pup on the right path for success from day one!

I’m Torri, your dog’s other best friend. Dog owner, lover, rescuer, and advocate for a better educated pet-owning community through humane, science-based, positive reinforcement methods.
Since I was little, I have been passionate about animals. This passion has driven me to follow my dream to make the world a better place by teaching animals and humans to coexist in harmony, one household at a time.
I started out with a pet sitting business when I was a teenager then I began teaching tricks to some of my regulars. I volunteered any spare time I had with at a shelter and spent a few years teaching with a pet store (that helped me with my fear of public speaking!). After that, I jumped into my own training business and to this day, I believe this is the coolest job I’ve ever had!
With more than a decade of education and hands-on experience under my collar, I am prepared to help you and your family with even the worst of your pet’s behavior!
Using humane, science-based training, I aim to facilitate greater understanding between animals and their humans – from both ends of the leash.

That would cost exponentially more than it will for me to train your dog!
I will add that in addition to training dogs, I also have experience training cats, horses, a pig, birds, rats, and a koi fish using the same positive reinforcement methods I use with dogs. Perhaps, through our sessions for your dog, you’ll be able to apply those same methods with your partner or spouse!
I don’t offer group lessons at this time, however, I may decide to offer them in the future to current clients.
I don’t offer pet sitting as the time required to drive to and from clients’ homes is cost-prohibitive for me.
